Data Analyst

A Data Analyst uncovers insights from raw data to solve specific business problems. This role is for you if you enjoy:

• Asking questions and discovering answers in data

• Working with spreadsheets, databases, and statistics

• Telling stories with numbers that influence decisions

Typical responsibilities include

• Gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data

• Spotting trends and patterns

• Running statistical tests and creating reports

• Presenting insights to stakeholders

Core tools: Excel, SQL, Python or R, Tableau, Power BI
Key outcome: Support decision-making with actionable insights

Business Intelligence (BI) Expert

A BI Expert builds systems that deliver company-wide insights. This role is ideal if you enjoy:

• Building dashboards and reporting systems

• Designing data pipelines and models

• Collaborating with leaders on performance metrics

 

Typical responsibilities include

• Managing data warehouses and ETL pipelines

• Creating dashboards and reporting tools

• Ensuring data quality and access

• Supporting strategic decision-making

Core tools: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SQL, ETL tools (SSIS, Talend), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
Key outcome: Enable real-time, scalable analytics across the organization
